Job summary

Service Experts in Austin, TX is seeking a courteous HVAC technician to diagnose and service residential and light commercial systems, promote products, and ensure customer satisfaction. The role reports to Field Supervisor or GM and requires EPA certification and valid driver's license.

You will read wiring diagrams, perform maintenance, use handheld devices to record call data, and collaborate with dispatch. Flexibility for on-call shifts and ability to access confined spaces are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with relevant HVAC training.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• 0-2+ years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial diagnostics and service on HVAC equipment.
• Communicate with customers to answer questions and ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect equipment, diagnose problems, and perform maintenance as needed.
• Record all call information using handheld device and complete forms accurately.
• Order/replenish vehicle stock and return defective parts as required.
• Promote products and services to customers and relay leads to Sales/Service Coordinator.
