The role involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, performing inspections, maintaining records, and coordinating with hospital staff to minimize disruption to care.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Understanding of healthcare regulations (Joint Commission, OSHA).
• Experience in hospital or healthcare facility maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and performs basic repairs on hospital systems and equipment.
• Responds to work requests and trouble calls promptly.
• Conducts routine inspections to identify safety hazards and regulatory compliance.
• Maintains records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Collaborates with staff to minimize disruptions to patient care.
• Provides weekend and emergency staff relief as needed.
