Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in hospital medical records department preferred.
• Some knowledge of electronic medical records and Epic Identity and Chart Correction process.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and triage chart corrections requests.
• Review, validate, and merge confirmed duplicate patient health records.
• Monitor data integrity and merge duplicate medical records.
• Provide feedback on inappropriate patient creation causing duplicates.
• Complete chart corrections and update EMR when notified of death certificates.
