Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging in Memphis, TN is seeking a Level 1 Engineer to provide support to senior engineers through sales, project, or R&D. This role focuses on hands-on learning and teamwork, contributing to project coordination and safety.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, and while experience in structural or mechanical design is beneficial, it's not mandatory. Strong communication and technical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of qualifying experience in structural or mechanical equipment design.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) credentials preferred.
• Ability to adapt to changing design requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in creating lift plans and analyzing load calculations.
• Assist in determining equipment selection and estimating project costs.
• Communicate with clients and project managers regarding project status.
