Job summary

Texas First Rentals in Bulverde, TX, is seeking an entry-level Heavy Equipment Technician to perform basic inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on our rental fleet.

You will work under supervision, learn to plan repairs, order parts, and maintain tools and work areas while following safety policies. This full-time, onsite role requires reliable attendance and a willingness to grow through ProTech training.

Qualifications

• One or more years of work-related skill or experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have or acquire basic mechanic hand and pneumatic tools (metric/standard).

Responsibilities

• Performs basic troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
• Assists in rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining equipment and components.
• Learns how to plan equipment and component repairs.
• Learns how to complete parts orders and identify parts for return.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in clean, orderly condition.
• Completes repair documents in a timely manner.
• Works safely and adheres to safety policies and standards.
• Overtime as required by workload and customer needs.
• Updates job knowledge through training paths.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
