Job summary

Steel Dynamics is seeking an entry-level haul truck operator for our facility in Indiana. You will transport finished goods by haul truck and trailer, track inventory movements, and maintain clean, orderly yards and mills.

Responsibilities include daily truck checks, basic maintenance, and performing other transportation duties as required. This role requires a strong safety record and reliable attendance, with a 4 on / 4 off swing shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Excellent safety and attendance record.
• Ability to work 4 on / 4 off swing shift.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient transportation of finished goods using a haul truck and trailer
• Accurate tracking of inventory movements
• Housekeeping in the mill and storage yards
• Daily checks, cleaning and light maintenance of haul truck and trailer including changing flat tires
• Other transportation duties as required
