Job summary

Eagle Wireless in Solon, OH or Minneapolis, MN is seeking an early‑career Hardware Engineer to contribute to the design, testing, and validation of cellular IoT and automotive connectivity modules across RF, power, and digital domains.

You will collaborate with firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams, gain hands‑on ownership of production hardware, and apply AI tools to accelerate design, test scripts, and documentation.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field; MS is a plus.
• 0–3 years of hardware engineering experience; internships count.
• Foundational knowledge of analog/digital circuit design and PCB layout.
• Experience with schematic capture/PCB tools like Altium, KiCad, Eagle or OrCAD.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and basic RF/test tooling.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools in engineering work.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Solon, OH or Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, testing, and validation of cellular IoT and automotive modules.
• Support schematic capture, PCB layouts, DFM/DFT reviews, and bring‑up activities.
• Execute hardware test plans for RF, power, thermal, and signal integrity.
• Log defects, participate in root cause analysis, and assist regulatory pre‑compliance.
• Write test scripts, leverage AI tools to accelerate tasks, and document work.
