CK Contractors and Development LLC is seeking an Entry Level Grading Equipment Operator to help prepare job sites within a 70 mile radius of Savannah, GA. You will operate bulldozers, excavators, rollers, backhoes, and other heavy equipment, and assist with grading tasks under supervision.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability, with overtime potential and a comprehensive benefits package. Normal hours are Mon-Fri, with occasional weekend work as project needs arise.

Qualifications

• 3-6 months of site grading or outdoor work experience.
• Ability to operate various grading equipment.
• Excellent safety awareness and compliance with policies.
• Ability to work with others to achieve results; think critically.
• Effective communication with operators and laborers, both verbal and nonverbal.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, skid steers, excavators, rollers and backhoes.
• Read site plans and check grade according to plan.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and other activities.
• Perform pre- and post-checks, daily maintenance, and keep equipment clean.
• Maintain records of equipment usage and address problems encountered.
• Occasionally assist with other positions to complete tasks.
