Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to Ohio Bar or intent to become licensed.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence.
• Meet with clients and assist with client counseling.
• Prepare and review real estate documents and transactional materials.
• Assist with probate and estate administration.
• Prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate-planning documents.
• Assist with business formations and related documentation.
• Participate in civil litigation, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, and trials as experience develops.
• Appear in court and before administrative bodies as appropriate.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other professionals.
• Manage assigned files and meet deadlines.
• Develop practical legal solutions with high standards of client service.
