Job summary

Citrin Cooperman is seeking a Staff in Commercial Tax Services in Florida. You will prepare federal and state returns, extensions, and projections for various client entities.

You will organize tax information, assist with notices and audits, and collaborate with the tax team to ensure high-quality deliverables while developing technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s in taxation preferred.
• CPA eligibility preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state tax laws – corporate, individual, trust, gifts, and partnership taxation.
• Ability to apply basic accounting principles to engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated and able to work individually and in a team setting.
• Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Prepares federal and state tax returns, extensions, and quarterly projections for clients (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, Individual).

• Communicates with Senior and/or Manager on work status and client issues.
• Collaborates with other tax professionals to ensure quality deliverables.
