Job summary

ABM Industries is hiring a sanitation technician for contract sanitation services at large food manufacturing facilities. You will clean production lines, silos, shipping areas, offices, and related spaces using wet and dry methods, while following food safety guidelines and the sanitation program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• Preferred: prior food plant sanitation experience.
• 1 year of similar work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanitation tasks on production lines, silos, shipping areas, offices, canteen and bathrooms.
• Follow ABM sanitation program and all food safety guidelines.
• Disassemble, clean/sanitize, and reassemble equipment as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of offices, restrooms and lunch areas; assist with Master Cleaning Schedule.
• Report equipment problems and support safety training and compliance.
