Job summary

KBR is seeking an entry-level Flight Controller to support NASA at Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The role includes flight control, training, and certification pathways for ISS, Orion, SLS, and other programs, with opportunities to advance through missions and certifications.

On-site with occasional telework flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The position requires a government background check, a 6-month graduation window for a BS in Engineering/Physics/Math, and readiness

Qualifications

• This is an entry-level position with potential for early certifications in flight control and instructor roles.
• Successful completion of a government background check is required before employment.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (ABET), Physics, or Mathematics or expected graduation within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Train and certify for a Mission Control Center console position.
• Maintain safe environment for ISS crew and monitor real-time ISS status.
• Control ISS system operations from mission control and report anomalies.
