Job summary

A leading fire protection company in Montana seeks an Entry-Level Fire Extinguisher and Sprinkler Inspector. This role involves on-the-job training, performing inspections and maintenance on fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, driver’s license, and communication skills. Starting salary ranges from $46,800 to $52,000 annually with advancement opportunities. This position requires travel across Montana and offers a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Company policy.
• Willingness to pass a post-offer drug test and background check.
• Experience in the fire protection industry is a plus but not required.
• Understanding of NFPA and building and fire codes is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating with minimal supervision while performing fire protection inspections.
• Perform routine inspections, testing and services of life safety product lines.
• Communicate daily with Project Manager and/or Schedule Coordinator on inspection or project delays.
• Document time worked and all paperwork relating to assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Work with Project Manager, Schedule Coordinator, and Office Administrative Staff to ensure complete closeout.
