Job summary

Advanced Fire Protection Services, Inc. in Fort Walton Beach, FL, is seeking a Level 1 Fire Alarm Construction Technician to help install, repair, renovate, and maintain all fire alarm types on site.

You will load materials, keep vehicles in good condition, and complete daily reports while following safety protocols. Experience in fire safety isn’t required as AFPS offers extensive training and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.
• Intermediate computer and software skills.
• The ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, renovate and maintain all fire alarm types in a timely and efficient manner.
• Load and handle materials and equipment.
• Maintain company vehicles to ensure appropriate working order and appearance.
• Complete daily reports and any other required paperwork.
• Ensure safety conditions at all time to include but not limited to the use of protective equipment (safety glasses, masks, gloves, etc.).
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with all employees of AFPS, as well as customers, other vendors and prospective customers.
• Use of basic hand tools.
• All other duties as assigned.
