Job summary
Mercer Advisors in California is seeking an entry-level Financial Planner to support Wealth Management Teams nationwide by preparing financial plans, data management, and plan preparation. You will use tools such as eMoney, Morningstar, SS Analyzer, Excel and CRM to build comprehensive plans and collaborate with investments, tax and estate planning specialists.
Base pay ranges from $89,250 to $105,000 USD, with full benefits, travel up to 10%, and CFP coursework progress encouraged to advance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; CFP coursework started.
- 1+ year financial industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Salesforce and financial planning software preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial plans for prospective clients, including spending, investment, retirement, education funding, and estate planning analysis.
- Collaborate with sales and wealth advisor teams to deliver accurate plans in a timely manner.
- Keep current on financial planning topics and assist with workflows to improve efficiency.
