Job summary

Enbridge is hiring a Field Technician I to support safe, reliable operation of pipeline and facility assets. In this entry-level position, you will gain foundational technical skills while working with experienced professionals on maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and daily operational activities.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, safety processes, record-keeping, and collaboration with teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel).
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn maintenance processes.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Team-oriented with safety and collaboration focus.
• Willingness to learn and grow in field operations.
• Experience/knowledge in pipeline, mechanical, or field maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support safe operation, maintenance, and repair of pipeline and facility equipment per safety and regulatory standards.
• Respond to equipment malfunctions, emergencies, and operational issues to protect people and environment.
• Participate in lockout/tagout and safety processes for safe work.
• Complete maintenance records, inspections, and documentation.
• Review drawings, procedures, and as-built docs to support field activities.
• Assist with material handling, inventory, and equipment logistics.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge through on-the-job training and development opportunities.
