Job summary

Intertek Building & Construction is seeking an Entry-Level Field Technician for the Little Rock, AR area. You will perform a variety of construction materials testing tasks under supervision, operating testing equipment and documenting results to support quality assurance on projects.

This entry-level role requires good communication, basic math, and the ability to read plans. Training is provided; a valid driver's license is required; some certifications may be regionally required or pursued

Qualifications

• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math, calculator, and computer skills required.
• Ability to read and understand work plans is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, project observations, and site assessments under supervision.
• Operate testing equipment and conduct tests (e.g., soil, concrete).
• Document data and provide data analysis in reports.
• Work from drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Maintain accurate test result documentation and data.
