Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture (or a related field) — new grads encouraged to apply.
• Interest in building science or building enclosure systems.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Curiosity, problem‑solving mindset, and willingness to learn.
• Comfort with both field and office work.
• Ability to travel regionally within the Eastern Midwest (OH, KY, IN, WV, MI, Western PA).
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• As a Field Engineer/Architect, you’ll support consulting, testing, and diagnostic services for building enclosure systems across multiple markets.
• Your work will include a blend of field and office responsibilities, such as:
• Conducting field investigations, observations, and inspections
• Assisting with engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations
• Supporting the preparation and review of technical reports
• Reviewing construction documents for compliance with plans and specifications
• Helping develop project proposals, cost estimates, and tracking project budgets
• Researching and resolving design and construction challenges
• Reviewing and evaluating field or lab data
• Communicating technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
