Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an entry-level Field Operations Assistant for the Buffalo, NY project. You will assist in obtaining, evaluating and coordinating information to construct the project in accordance with contract documents and to ensure safety, schedule and quality.

Based in a Turner office or project location, you will support the field team to ensure work meets safety standards, is on schedule, and is constructed to high quality. This is a non-remote, on-site role in Buffalo, NY.

Responsibilities

• Perform line and grade work for building layout and control as required.
• Assist in implementation of site safety program as required.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards and applicable safety codes and regulations.
• Assist in maintenance of contract documents and electronic web-based documents for field operations.
• Assist in preparation of Daily Construction Reports (DCR’s).
• Review work as it is being placed to be sure it is accurate within accepted tolerances.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be 66,000.00 - 73,000.00USD annualized.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be $66,000 - $73,000 annualized, which represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Description: Assigned to a field operations team to assist in obtaining, evaluating and coordinating information needed to construct the project in accordance with contract documents and to assure work meets all safety standards, is within schedule requirements, and is constructed to the highest level of quality possible.

Reports to: Project Superintendent or Superintendents
