Job summary

Terracon is hiring for the position of Exploration Team Member in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is an entry-level role where no experience is required. The successful candidate will assist in drilling operations, maintain quality standards, and comply with safety regulations while working as part of a team.

Responsibilities include collecting soil and rock samples, performing routine maintenance on drilling equipment, and conducting site reconnaissance. Candidates must have a high school diploma and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within first 30 days of employment.
• Limited or no experience required.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drilling operations and instrumentation and monitoring well installation.
• Collect soil and rock samples and log field data.
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance.
• Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects.
• Participate in pre-task planning.
• Drive a medium-duty truck and trailer.

Education
