Job summary

HL-GA Battery Company LLC in Ellabell, GA is seeking an entry-level Facility Operator I to support daily utility operations across chillers, boilers, HVAC, and other systems essential to 24/7 battery manufacturing.

Under close supervision, you will follow SOPs, maintain 5S standards, perform routine checks, and assist with basic electrical tasks, safety, and housekeeping, with rotating shifts and opportunities to grow into a technician role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational certificate or associate degree in mechanical or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Demonstrated reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor utility equipment (chillers, boilers, HVAC, pumps) under supervision.
• Perform routine checks of parameters and report anomalies.
• Assist with cleaning, lubrication, and simple adjustments per SOPs.
• Record data in EMS/CMMS and report non-conformances.
• Follow safety protocols and use required PPE.
• Collaborate with utility crew and participate in training.
