Job summary

Fox Corporation in Tempe, AZ is seeking an entry-level Facilities Technician I to support the maintenance and operation of building systems. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and the Manager, Facilities Engineering to develop technical skills and ensure facility reliability and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks, learning safety protocols, and keeping records of maintenance activities in a 24/7/365 environment.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a technical facilities environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
• Proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Office, Jira, etc.).
• Flexibility with scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine maintenance and inspections of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Support team members in troubleshooting and repairing building systems.
• Monitor building operations and report irregularities or issues.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks as directed.
• Complete assigned work orders and assist in record-keeping of maintenance activities.
