Job summary

Elk Ave Hospitality in Crested Butte, CO is seeking a Level 1 Facilities Maintenance Technician to support routine care of our restaurants, employee housing, and hospitality properties. This entry-level role focuses on basic maintenance, inspections, cleaning, preventive maintenance, grounds work, seasonal prep, and supervised repairs as you learn building systems.

You will work with Level 2 and 3 technicians, follow written checklists, use common hand tools safely, and report conditions outside

Qualifications

• No formal trade qualification required.
• Basic ability to safely use common hand tools.
• Willingness to learn and accept coaching.
• Reliable attendance and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders for basic repairs and general building upkeep.
• Perform adjustments, assembly, touch-up work, hardware replacement, filter changes, and light carpentry.
• Complete work within training and authorized scope.
• Keep work areas organized and clean.
• Communicate incomplete work or additional repair needs to the Facilities Field Manager.
• Report safety concerns and escalate when needed.
