Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a Fabrication Associate - Entry Level in Guntersville, AL. The role involves setting up and operating machines for pipe fabrication, measuring and cutting pipe, and maintaining organized pipe orders in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires basic fabrication exposure, strong math skills, and the ability to work safely with band saws, torches, and Landis threading equipment. Evening shifts are not indicated; apply for M-F schedule if applicable.

Qualifications

• Prior fabrication experience is preferred but not required.
• Outstanding math skills and the ability to calculate quantities of product on hand.
• Experience operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain machines in the shop for pipe fabrication.
• Accurately measure and record random pipe lengths.
• Cut and thread pipe using band saw or torch and Landis machines.
• Move pipe in yard and assemble pipe orders in an organized manner.
• Observe safety precautions during fabrication, cutting, assembling, and shipping.
• Operate powered industrial equipment following OSHA guidelines.
