Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 in Henderson, NV to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a select fleet of equipment including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and generators. You will build skills across makes and models while supporting a safety-focused team.

High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 years in diesel or heavy equipment preferred. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems, using basic tools, and adapting to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or related equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
• Work on a variety of makes, models and equipment to build diverse skill set.
• Follow safety standards and support a safety-focused team environment.
• Assist with equipment readiness to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.
