Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Technician who performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime. The role supports a safety-focused environment and a fleet including aerial platforms and general construction tools.

Education includes a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 years of technician experience. Training is provided, and bilingual ability may be required based on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas) strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals; knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment; bilingual ability may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in a safe, efficient manner to avoid downtime.
• Work with a diverse fleet including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment.
• Support a safety-focused work environment and adhere to company policies.
