Job summary

Auto-Chlor System in Manteca, California is seeking an Equipment Repair Technician (Entry Level – Paid Training). This position offers paid, hands-on training starting at $23 per hour with real on-the-job experience repairing and maintaining commercial dishwashing equipment for customers and in our shop.

No prior experience is required because we provide comprehensive training to build your technical skills and a long-term career.

Qualifications

• Has a valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years.
• Enjoys working with hands and learning mechanical skills.
• Is comfortable using—or willing to learn—basic hand tools.
• Likes solving problems and figuring out how things work.
• Is dependable, motivated, and takes pride in their work.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Is open to participating in an occasional on-call rotation.
• Can lift up to 70 pounds and work in an active environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment at customer locations and in the shop.
• Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues.
• Use hand and power tools to replace parts and rebuild equipment.
• Test equipment to make sure it's operating safely and efficiently.
• Respond to customer service calls and help keep businesses running.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Drive a company vehicle to customer locations.
• Learn equipment installation and preventative maintenance to grow your technical skills.
