Job summary

Intertek Group Plc is seeking an Entry Level Environmental Technician in Oakland, California. The technician will conduct environmental consulting work, including field sampling of contaminants and indoor air quality assessments. This full-time position offers a wage of $22-$25 per hour and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401(k). Candidates should have a High School Diploma, relevant experience, and must be able to lift weights over 40 pounds. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
• 1+ years experience in environmental consulting and sampling.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field sampling of building contaminants and air quality.
• Prepare field documentation and reports.
• Participate in QA/QC programs and safety protocols.
