ERG seeks an entry-level environmental professional to support projects within our Water Practice. Ideal for a recent graduate interested in water resources, water quality, and wastewater management.

Coursework in water resources and/or wastewater management is required, with a PE path for engineers. Responsibilities include supporting technical analyses, preparing reports, and collaborating with scientists, engineers, and project managers to meet client objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Systems Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field with a focus on water/wastewater.
• 0–1 years of professional experience
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (college transcripts required)
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Strong data analysis skills including advanced Excel functions and R
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Academic coursework or research experience related to wastewater, water resources, or water quality
• Internship or project experience in environmental consulting, water management, or related fields
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance frameworks related to water programs

This role is ideal for a recent or upcoming graduate interested in water resources, water quality, and wastewater management. Documented coursework in water resources and/or wastewater management is required. The selected candidate will provide project-level support across a range of technical and analytical water projects. Engineering candidates selected candidate will commit to completing the process to obtain their Professional Engineering (PE) certificate.
