Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks an Entry Level Engineering Technician in Overland Park, KS to support engineering teams with basic technical tasks and documentation. You will use CAD/BIM tools to help create and maintain drawings and deliverables, while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Under supervision, you will coordinate with other groups, handle simple computations, and learn BV standards and processes.

Qualifications

• 1 year related work experience is typically required.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR).
• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering teams by applying basic engineering principles.
• Use CAD/BIM/3D modeling tools to create and maintain technical documents and drawings.
• Assist in evaluating methods to support continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Coordinate deliverables with other groups to minimize errors and respond to internal client needs.
