ControlPoint Technologies seeks an Entry Level Engineer to begin a career in the Power & Energy Industry. The role includes project design, field inspections, and work order management for overhead and underground distribution projects for electric utility systems.

You will join a comprehensive on-the-job training program and learn from industry experts as you contribute to grid modernization, renewable energy integration, and automation efforts.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. or M.S. in Engineering required.
• Engineering majors considered: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Willingness to travel to office and field locations as needed.
• Driver's License required.
• Ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Design projects and assist in field inspections for overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Manage work orders and support project execution for electric utility distribution projects.
• Support clients with grid modernization, renewable energy integration, and system monitoring/automation.
• Participate in a comprehensive on-the-job training program to launch your engineering career.

About the Entry Level Engineer position

ControlPoint is looking for engineers that are ready to launch their career in the Power & Energy Industry as Entry Level Engineers. The position will include project design, field inspection, and work order management of overhead and underground distribution projects for electric utility distribution systems.

ControlPoint Technologies is a mid-sized, project engineering and consulting firm to the electric utilities, providing innovative solutions, complex project designs, field support, system analysis, and project management.

As an entry level engineer, you will be placed into a comprehensive "on the job" training program and quickly launch your engineering career.

You will be surrounded by industry experts and consultants from the Power & Energy Industry, assisting clients with the challenges of grid modernization, renewable energy integration, and system monitoring and automation.

Engineer requirements are:
