FDH Aero is seeking an Assembly Support Associate in Ronkonkoma, NY. The role involves performing basic assembly tasks, labeling, and packaging under supervision, with emphasis on quality checks to ensure readiness for the next production step.

You will support production processes, follow standard instructions, and report issues promptly while maintaining a clean workstation and adhering to safety protocols. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Previous assembly or production experience in electronics preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic value-added tasks following standard instructions, ensuring products are correctly marked and securely packaged for shipment.
• Conduct initial quality checks under close supervision, inspecting for visible defects, proper labeling, and packaging integrity before moving products to the next stage.
• Report any issues or deviations to leads or supervisors, such as mislabeled items, damaged packaging, or material shortages, providing clear observations for resolution.
• Preparing materials with adhesives or bonding agents as directed, ensuring they are ready for use in value-added processes.
• Utilize basic computer skills and access work orders as guided by supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation by arranging tools, materials and components neatly and ensuring easy access and compliance with workplace safety and efficiency standards
• Assist in sorting and organizing incoming materials, verifying quantities against documentation under close oversight.
• Follow safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training to prevent workplace hazards
