Job summary

Garver is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Training (EIT) for our Buildings team in Kansas City, MO. The role supports assessment of existing facilities and the development of electrical designs for a variety of buildings projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating with other disciplines, assisting project managers, and performing site visits with occasional travel. ABET-accredited degree and EIT or progress toward registration are required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering.
• Registered EIT or ability to become registered within 6 months of start date.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support assessment of existing facilities and development of electrical designs for Buildings projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and regional offices; assist project managers with design.
• Perform site visits and travel as needed; follow QA/QC plans and maintain project accounting.
