Job summary

IMEG in Urbandale, IA is hiring an Electrical Engineering New Graduate to work with a team of engineers and consultants on hands-on design, analysis, and project execution, with mentorship and training from day one.

You will assist in engineering analysis for electrical systems in buildings, engage with clients, and support project planning while contributing to energy-efficient, high-performance design aligned with industry standards; a strong start to your career at IMEG.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of design techniques and electrical systems for buildings.
• Experience with lighting calculation & energy compliance tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of electrical systems per IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical info.
• Support project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and innovative practices.
• Prioritize safety in all engineering work.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
