You will assist with design calculations, develop plans using Revit and AutoCAD, and participate in site surveys across the Bay Area while learning NEC and local codes.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience.

Oakland, CA | Full-Time Salas O’Brien is seeking an Entry-level Electrical Engineer to join our Oakland team. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer interested in building electrical systems and consulting engineering. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and Professional Engineers on the design of power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, and other building systems while gaining experience in design, construction documents, field investigations, and construction administration.

What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT certification or plans to pursue it.
• Internship, co-op, or relevant project experience.
• Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Exposure to power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, or low-voltage design.
• Interest in pursuing PE licensure.

Travel

Limited Travel up to 10%

The expected base salary range for this role is $75,000 – $85,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
