Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electrical Assembler for a contract-to-hire role in Machesney Park, IL. You will assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand and power tools, read blueprints, and troubleshoot equipment on a fast-paced production floor.

This onsite position offers first and third shift options, competitive pay of $20.00-$23.00 per hour, and benefits from day one, including health, dental, and vision coverage through a major provider.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to pass an electrical assessment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for assembly.
• Able to read SAE and metric tape measures.
• Experience with electrical and panel wiring.
• Capable of mechanical and machine assembly.
• Able to troubleshoot mechanical equipment per procedures.
• Comfortable on a fast-paced production floor with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand and power tools.
• Read blueprints and schematics to guide assemblies.
• Perform wiring and panel wiring per specs.
• Carry out mechanical and machine assembly tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment following inspection procedures.
• Operate tools safely and adhere to safety guidelines.
