Vortex Doors is seeking Service Technicians to join our team of door industry professionals in Roanoke, Indiana. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial doors and related hardware, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years in commercial door service is a plus.
• Knowledge of various door types, brands, and hardware is a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair a variety of commercial doors using appropriate tools.
• Diagnose and repair door-related issues including springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Install door hardware such as locks, handles, closers, and access control systems.
• Ensure safety and building code compliance on all installations and repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and offering solutions.
