Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with Transportation Management Software (TMS).
• Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to monitor drivers' logs, truck maintenance schedules, and repairs.
• Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers for deliveries or pickups.
• Communicate with customers about freight details and times.
• Plan routes and accommodate changes as needed.
• Prepare dispatch documents, freight bills and invoices.
• Maintain records of dispatches, routes and times.
• Track transportation regulations and ensure compliance.
• Review drivers’ logs and arrival times.
• Monitor truck maintenance schedules.
• Log customer shipping schedules and complaints.
