Job summary

Aetwork is looking for full-time entry-level designers for their immersive First Year program in New York City. Candidates will collaborate with project teams to create models and high-quality graphic presentations, assist with design and construction documents, and support various urban projects. A strong background in graphic and model-making skills is required, along with knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Job description

We are seeking full-time entry-level designers for an immersive First Year program. Entry level designers work closely with project teams to produce models and high quality, graphic presentations; to assist with design and construction documents for public and private sector urban projects; and to support projects in construction. Entry Level Designers may be assigned to work on various phases of project development and may also support specific marketing initiatives from time to time. We also have one position that will work with our interiors team. The willingness to participate in a wide range of tasks and an eagerness to learn are critical to success.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have:

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture
• 0 to 1 year’s relevant professional experience
• Strong graphic skills
• Model making skills: wood, metal, plastic, paper (laser cutter and traditional construction)
• Functional knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, 3d Studio Max, SketchUp,Rhino
• Focused, organized, detail-oriented, and design-minded
