Job summary

AA TECH is seeking a professional entry-level Manufacturing Engineer to analyze product specifications, optimize designs for manufacturability, and support cost-effective production. The role involves evaluating components and systems, preparing detailed CAD drawings, and ensuring designs meet industry standards.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Manufacturing Engineering, a readiness to work in cross-functional teams, and the ability to communicate findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Manufacturing Engineering or related engineering field.
• SME or ASME certification desired.
• May have limited prior industry experience or worked with direction in student internship programs.

Responsibilities

• Creates designs by analyzing product specifications, performance requirements, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Performs moderately complex design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of components and systems.
• Prepares product layouts, drawings, and assembly drawings using CAD tools and industry standards.
• Reviews drawings and models for clarity, completeness, and conformance; identifies issues and recommends revisions.
• Conducts analyses and tests and documents results and procedures.
