Job summary

Lindenwood Dentistry is seeking a dental assistant trainee to join our team. You will learn basic chairside support under the dentist's direct supervision and participate in infection control and patient care activities.

You will perform basic radiographs as allowed by state regulations, prepare treatment trays, record charting, and help ensure a positive patient experience while maintaining safety and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• No dental experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting functions under direct supervision.
• Participate in patient experience and address patient needs and concerns.
• Learn infection control procedures for sterilization and operatory cleaning.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures as allowed after radiation safety requirements.
• Prepare for patient care procedures and provide chairside support.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral care as directed.
• Record patient charting and treatment notes in the digital chart.
• Support treatment records and health history presentation to dentist.
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations.
