Job summary

El Centro Family Health in New Mexico is seeking a full-time Non-Certified Dental Assistant to support clinical and administrative operations within our dental services.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma; no prior experience is required, though experienced assistants are encouraged to apply. Radiology requirements must be completed within six months, and CPR/BLS within 30 days of hire. Travel to outlying clinics may be needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school or equivalent.
• Experience: No experience necessary; entry-level position.
• Certification: Radiology requirements to be completed within six months from date of hire.
• CPR/BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Other Requirements: TST Test; HepB vaccine or declination.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, administrative, and staff support to full-range dental services operations.
• Assist in dental procedures and in coordination of day-to-day patient administration, records management, and office support activities.
• Provide chair-side assistance to the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in operative, preventive, periodontal, endodontic, prosthetic, and/or oral surgical procedures.
