Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in networking, IT infrastructure, and/or cybersecurity.
• CCNA, Network+, Security+ or comparable certification.

Responsibilities

• Document network architecture, map switches/patch panels, validate VLANs, assist with switch and firewall changes.
• Install, cabling, configuration, inventory, and documentation of switches, firewalls, servers, wireless equipment, and data center/plant infrastructure.
• Administer and monitor security platforms (EDR, IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability management, email security, password management, firewalls, SASE, privileged access).
• Review security alerts and vulnerability findings; perform initial triage and escalate per procedures.
• Troubleshoot email delivery and authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, approved senders).
• Assist with recurring security control reviews (user access, privileged accounts, firewall policies, ACLs, vendor access).
• Collect and maintain evidence for audits; track vulnerabilities and remediation.
• Support security awareness programs; schedule training; track completion; measure program metrics.
• Maintain security procedures, network diagrams, asset records, change records, knowledge base articles, policy docs.
