DIHO Consulting USA in Kenner, LA is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician to perform field testing on soils, concrete, asphalt and pile monitoring. Training will be provided and certification paths are available.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of construction or materials testing experience. You'll conduct tests such as slump and air content for concrete, soil compaction, Proctor, Atterberg, sieve analysis, asphalt density, core sampling, and live pile monitoring,

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in construction or construction materials testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests such as concrete testing (slump, air content, temp, unit weight, cylinders).
• Conduct soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Perform Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and other soil tests.
• Carry out asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Monitor piles during installation and document capacity, penetration and blows.
• Produce timely, detailed reports and maintain safety procedures.

DIHO Consulting USA is seeking applicants for the Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician role in Kenner, LA. Do you have construction experience? Then join us and become a CMT Technician! Training will be provided, and you can get certified!

This role involves performing field testing of construction materials—including soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring—to ensure compliance with project specifications. Candidates with ACI, NICET, or TxDOT certifications are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform field tests such as:
• Concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and casting cylinders for compressive strength)
• Soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge
• Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and other soil classification tests (as applicable)
• Asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling
• Pile monitoring during installation to document capacity, penetration, and blow counts
• Produce timely and detailed reports
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner and follow our corporate safety procedures at all time
• Follow all company's procedures and protocols
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
• Build positive relationships with clients
• Arrive at the job site to which you are dispatched, on time each day
• Communicate with dispatch on a daily basis
• Communicate with onsite clients each day and relay any information to management
