Job summary

Jacobs Solutions Inc. is seeking driven, entry-level Construction Management professionals to join our teams across the US, including locations in New York state. You’ll work on horizontal and vertical projects from planning through commissioning, supporting project managers and applying data analytics to improve delivery.

The role offers a path for growth with diverse project work in industrial, municipal, and commercial facilities, under a hybrid policy combining in-office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems and components.

Jacobs provides full-service engineering, procurement, and construction management services for both new and existing facilities. For projects of every scale, we provide design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and maintenance services that support a facility’s entire life cycle. We support both horizontal and vertical construction work:

Horizontal construction projects focus on the following areas: roadway, rail, transit, aviation, and utility infrastructure improvements that connect communities and enhance mobility.
Vertical construction projects focus on the following areas: K-12 and higher education campuses, hospitals and healthcare facilities, and commercial office and mixed-use buildings from planning and design through construction and commissioning.

Working within one of our Construction teams, you can join us in one of many different Construction focused roles–Document Control, Project Control, Site Engineer, to name a few. You will support Project Managers in all aspects of the project, help find alternative strategies, and utilize advanced te chn ologies and data analy sis solutions to support service excellence. We’ll guide you through the beginning of your construction management career as you hone your skills in meeting project requirements regarding timeline and budget. You will collaborate on the development of project schedules and detail the critical activities which will help drive us to successful project delivery.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or another closely related field
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• Previous experience in construction
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future

The base salary range for this position is $74,600.00 to $90,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
