Job summary

TIC Inc is seeking an entry-level construction helper to assist skilled craft workers on job sites. You will help set up tasks, follow supervisors’ directions and adhere to safety rules. Expect outdoor work in varying weather, including climbing and working at heights within safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include keeping areas clean, reading signs and instructions, and observing equipment for potential hazards. Excellent communication with the team is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus field experience preferred.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and layout tools safely and efficiently.
• Good communication with management and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsman in setting up work as required.
• Follow instructions from superintendents, foreman and crew.
• Prioritize safety in all tasks.
• Keep work areas clean and in orderly conditions.
• Read warning signs and jobsite safety rules.
• Learn to observe functioning of installed equipment or systems to determine hazards.
