Job summary

JLM Strategic Talent Partners is seeking a Project Engineer to support civil construction projects in the United States. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is comfortable working at project sites.

You will help interpret contract plans, implement quality processes, inspect conditions, and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include cost tracking, reporting, and coordinating with the project team to resolve issues and keep assignments on

Qualifications

• Develop complete understanding of contract plans and specifications.
• Assist the project team in implementing the Quality Management system.
• Inspect field conditions and identify problems, costs, and corrective actions.
• Inspect subordinates' work for compliance with plans and specs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for project execution.
• Track material costs and quantities entering sites.
• Create monthly material cost and inventory reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop contract plan understanding and ensure specs are followed.
• Support the project team with the Quality Management system.
• Inspect field conditions and propose corrective actions.
• Review subordinates' work for contract compliance and address deficiencies.
• Maintain regulatory compliance throughout project execution.
• Monitor and report material costs and quantities on site.
• Prepare reports based on monthly material costs and inventory.
