Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is hiring a Confined Space Entry Monitor to support safety at the Phoenix site. The role emphasizes monitoring permit spaces, serving as a fire watch for hotwork, and maintaining entry records. Training is available to become a foundational Technician if desired.

Pay range is $20.50-$22.50 per hour, with Monday–Friday schedules from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Qualifications: high school diploma or GED, minimum 18 years old; experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience is not required but is a plus.
• Confined Space Attendant, Fire Watch or Rope Rescue related knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and protect entrants in permit spaces.
• Perform external fire watch duties for hotwork.
• Remain outside permit space during entry unless relieved.
• Ensure ventilation and PPE compliance as documented.
• Post permits and track entrants/exits accurately.
• Summon rescue services during an emergency and evacuate when needed.
