Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC in Houston/San Antonio, TX is seeking an entry-level Compliance Analyst to serve as the project compliance expert on a portfolio of government-funded construction projects. The role works with a dedicated team to ensure all projects meet compliance objectives and offers upward mobility within Project Controls and Compliance.

Responsibilities include enforcing wage laws and PLA requirements, generating CPRs, reviewing documents, and collaborating on process

Qualifications

• Highly motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and reliability in output.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with federal contracting, labor regulations, and FAR regulations is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred, or similar relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Enforce compliance with prevailing wage laws and PLA requirements.
• Generate, certify, and submit CPRs for Clark and subcontractors.
• Manage all prevailing wage document collection and review.
• Cross-check payroll submissions for proper wage payments.
• Collaborate on process improvements for project compliance.
• Assist with complex prevailing wage issues and investigations.
• Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information.
• Support worker utilization and small business subcontracting goals.
• Resolve internal audit findings.
• Manage project start-up and close-out for compliance.
• Travel to project sites locally.
• Conduct weekly on-site worker interviews for compliance.
