The State of Arkansas, Department of Corrections, is seeking a Community Supervision Officer I for the Pocahontas area. This entry-level role supervises offenders on probation or parole, ensures compliance with court-ordered conditions, and supports rehabilitation and public safety.

Responsibilities include caseload management, home and office visits, risk assessments, documenting cases, coordinating with law enforcement and courts, and preparing reports for court proceedings.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required; or two years’ social services, corrections, or law enforcement experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must be able to be certified as a specialized police officer as required by the agency.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise a caseload of probationers and parolees, ensuring adherence to supervision requirements.
• Conduct routine office and home visits and employment verifications.
• Develop individualized case plans addressing risks, needs, and rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor compliance with court-ordered conditions and document findings.
• Perform random drug and alcohol screenings and report results.
• Prepare reports for court proceedings and coordinate with law enforcement, courts, and service providers.
